Killing Kittens, part 2

2 Cats later we have determined the source of the poison. The cat food. It appears No Name Brand Hairball Formula cat food has a nasty habit of killing its customers. The vet recognized it when we came in. Apparently the cat food crystalizes urine in the urethra and the kidneys fail. extremely painful death.

RIP Raff

So the question is, If the vet knows that this cat food kills cats, do the companies that sell it know? does the "No Name" brand give them the right to sell poison without legal liability? Its still on the shelf people. enjoy your dinner.

My experience with this feline condition points out that many brands of cat food products sold are contributing to this fatal condition. Less likely to be fatal if your cat is an indoor cat and you have the time to monitor their behavior. It can be treated if caught in time. My cat is living proof.
